When good wombs bear bad sons

Firstly,parents are always the guiding light of a child.But as the children grows older,they seem to have a certain thinking that they can survive on their own,yearning to have their own freedom and thinking.Upon reaching the teenage years,children rely more on their friends rather than their elders.But are parents suppose to get the punishments on behalf of their children.When commiting a crime,the culprit should be the one to face the punishments.In reference to the article as mentioned in the title,some parts of the world have set certain laws to hold parents either criminally or civilly liable for their children crimes,probably just because the children were not of adult age.But if the child was able to commit the crime,isn't he or she thinking as an adult?Children were born innocent,and only learn bad things due to his or her surroundings and influence.As children are exposed to bad influence,they can only blame themselves for not resisting peer pressure.And parents should not take the blame,because the fact is that the parents have already done alot for their children,some even taking on a few jobs a day,working their asses off for their child,just to see their child get influenced and turn out to be the scum of society.Then what is the point of having a child who disgraces you after so much you have done for him?
